Spyro the Dragon Pumpkin by Quig-Alchemist Spyro the Dragon Pumpkin by Quig-Alchemist
Second Pumpkin with Spryo! The head looks the best lol by the time I got back to finishing it, it had started to rot lol and that made it harder to carve. But it was still fun! =D

Now that is cool. I'm really gonna have to try to carve a pumpkin like that one year for Halloween. Just curious about something. Did you paint the pumpkin purple, or did you use a black light? or both?

That is really worthy of my seal of approval.

Which is a trophy. :trophy:

Thank you very very much :) *takes trophy* I appreciate it.

Well, I found that picture, made it black and white, then converted the colors to negative on the computer and printed it off. I taped that pic to the pumpkin and then made pinholes to give myself the general outline of the figure. After that I separated the picture from the pumpkin and used my marks as a guide to cut out all the places that were black and vary how much to take out in the gray areas. Throughout the process I used a super bright light bulb to see. A normal candle doesn't penetrate well enough for the details to show.

It's a lot cheaper than paint or black light, but that could have been a good way to go too. Hmmm...

This was only my second attempt at pumpkin carving to be honest, (My sly cooper was the first) and I plan on doing as many as I can next year! I might even take requests if I get good enough ^-^
